這次參觀了《再見梵谷—光影體驗展》，除了更進一步認識這位畫家的生平，也伴隨著音樂、氣味以及視覺感受，深入他的內心世界深索。雖然他受精神疾病所苦，卻一直透過文字與畫作，努力吶喊出他熱烈的情感。

．The sunflower is mine, in a way.
某種程度來說，向日葵是屬於我的。
．I dream of painting and then I paint my dream.
我夢想著繪畫，我畫著我的夢想。
．I feel that there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people.
沒有比愛人更真確的藝術。
．I want to do drawings which touch people…in figure or landscape I should wish to express not sentimental melancholy but serious sorrow.
我想畫出觸動人心的素描，我想透過人物或風景所表達的，不是傷感的憂鬱，而是真摯的悲傷。
．Do not quench your inspiration and imagination, not a slave to the model for you.
不要熄滅你的靈感與想像，不要成為你楷模的奴隸。
．Let me along the road to my own struggle, don’t lose courage, don’t slacken off.
讓我沿著我自己的路奮鬥吧，不要失去勇氣，不要鬆懈。
．Great things are not something accidental, but must certainly be willed.
偉大的事情絕非偶然，而是堅定意志的成果。
．I don’t know anything with certainty, but seeing the stars makes me dream.
沒有什麼是必然的，唯有看到星星，會讓我充滿希望。
．Someday death will take us to another star.
有一天，死亡會帶我們到另外一顆星。
．Love is something eternal, the aspect may change, but not the essence.
愛是恆久的，形式可能轉換，但本質不變。
